George Bush uses Google Maps

If you’re feeling brave, go and have a look at the video at http://thinkprogress.org/2006/10/23/bush-says-he-uses-the-google/

I don’t really know where to start with this. The serious and comic potential are both so great.

Has he used it to search for bad guys in Afghanistan? Does he know it’s not real-time?

“One of the things I’ve used on the Google is to pull up maps. It’s very interesting to see — I’ve forgot the name of the program — but you get the satellite, and you can — like, I kinda like to look at the ranch. It remind me of where I wanna be sometimes.”

Surely he doesn’t need to use Google’s satellite to look at stuff - he has quite a few of his own. Or perhaps he’s using it to plan his future military campaigns. That’d be pretty disturbing. Maybe he needs this too.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is over 200 comments in under 24 hours on the story, including some excellent suggestions on what GW should Google next.
