How come, when I type “search” into Google, the number 1 result is this?

Because the word Google is synonymous with the word search. Nobody uses the word search when talking about (or linking to) Google.
What makes me laugh is that the indexed Bing page is their “we think you’re a malicious robot” page. You would have thought they would have a special case for the Google crawler…
